People who are or have been employed by an ABTA member or ABTA itself are eligible. Their dependants can also apply.
Grant application forms can be obtained from the ABTA Benevolent Fund and are downloadable from the website. They should be submitted directly by the individual, or through a third party such as a social worker, Citizens' Advice or other welfare agency. Applications are considered every two months.

Grant applications can only be made by first contacting your local Action for Blind People team.

Actors and theatrical stage managers can apply for financial assistance from the Fund if they are unable to work due to ill health, injury or old age.
Contact the Fund for an application form. Applications are considered on the last Thursday of every month.

Children (aged under 21) of professional actors who are in financial need, can apply for assistance from the Actors' Charitable Trust (TACT). TACT can also help children whose stepparent or adoptive parent is an actor.
Contact TACT for an application form or download one from the website. Forms can be submitted either by the individual or the parent concerned.
People with cancer or rheumatism who are in need may be eligible for a grant.
Applications can be submitted throughout the year by a social worker, citizens advice or other welfare agency on behalf of the individual. Details of income and circumstances should be provided.
Women freemasons and their dependants can apply to the Trust in times of financial need.
Applications should be made in writing to the Trust.
Children who have intestinal neuronal dysplasia (IND) and those undergoing transplants of the small bowel, liver or pancreas can apply to the Adele Chapman Foundation for financial assistance.
Contact the Foundation for an application form. You can also request an application form from the Royal Belfast Children's Hospital or Birmingham Children's Hospital. The application will need to be signed by the child's doctor or consultant.
The organisation offers help to elderly, frail people living in the UK who are in vital financial need. Applications can be made by the individual or by a third party such as a family member, social worker or care agency.

The Agnes Macleod Memorial Fund provides grants to women resident in Scotland who were born MacLeod (or whose mothers were born MacLeod) and who are in need of assistance owing to sickness, advanced age or limited means.
Applications should be made in writing to the Fund secretary. Doctors, social workers, citizens advice, welfare agencies, health visitors, ministers and priests may also submit applications on behalf of an individual.
