The Money Advice Service has announced the award of a three-year contract to Turn2us to provide its customer contact centre.
On behalf of the Money Advice Service, Turn2us will be delivering their multi-channelled advice line service – providing a free, independent and impartial source of money advice. This will enable people to receive unbiased information, to understand their options and to manage their own finances, as a matter of course.

Some major changes to Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) came into effect at the end of April - including the implementation of the one-year time limit on payment of contributory Employment and Support Allowance for people in the Work-Related Activity Group.

Turn2us provides a free suite of interactive e-learning resources for intermediaries to help familiarise new users with our public and advanced Benefits Calculator and Grants Search. Updates across all of the five modules have been recently made to reflect enhancements to the Turn2us website.

Turn2us intermediary workshops are available in many locations across the UK and new dates have recently been added in Wales and Northern Ireland. Further dates for later in the year will be scheduled shortly.

Turn2us’ second annual Benefits Awareness Month, a campaign encouraging people in financial need to check their entitlements to welfare benefits, has now come to a close. This was well received in the media with over 180 pieces of coverage across national, consumer, regional, online and broadcast press.
