Ask an Expert information‘Ask an Expert’ service launched by Turn2us

'Ask an Expert', an exciting online service from Turn2us, launches on Monday 21 February. This new monthly feature will give Turn2us users the chance to get answers to their specific questions on welfare benefits and charitable grants. The first feature will focus on redundancy.

Turn2us research reveals low awareness of benefits and grants

Information on the Turn2us-commissioned research into the experiences of low paid employeesAwareness and take-up of welfare benefits and charitable grants among employees on a low income are limited, according to Turn2us commissioned research carried out by the Work Foundation. The research, published on 3 February, showed that participants were confused by the benefits system and perceived charitable support as being available only to the most vulnerable in society.
