Citizens Advice Scotland are working with Poppyscotland and other armed forces support groups to offer a new service, the Armed Services Advice Project (ASAP), which aims to be the focal point for access to advice, information and support for the Armed Forces community in Scotland.
Turn2us grants searches and benefits checks will be part of the services provided as part of ASAP by Citizens Advice bureaux in Scotland – a highly trusted advisory and information network that has the necessary experience, resources and links to help members of the Armed Forces community in Scotland resolve the problems they encounter – whether they are service-related or not.
