Working with intermediaries

Working with intermediaries, i.e. the thousands of advisers, support workers, volunteer home visitors or welfare officers who have regular face-to-face contact with people in financial need, is a fundamental part of Turn2us’s work.

Turn2us intermediary accounts

We have developed services for intermediaries to help you in your work including :

  • An Intermediaries Benefits Calculator that can be used for ‘what if’ benefits calculations to show the effects of a change in income on benefit entitlement and to retrieve the benefit calculations completed by colleagues;
  • Access to charitable funds that can only be applied for via an intermediary in the Turn2us Grants Search.

‘My Turn2us’ accounts are free and all personal details are held in the strictest confidence and in line with our Confidentiality Policy and Data Protection Policy.

See our Intermediaries User Guide for more information

Education resources

To help you make the most of Turn2us tools and services, we run free regional workshops throughout the UK. We have also developed a free suite of interactive e-learning resources for intermediaries.

Turn2us works in partnership on a number of projects involving intermediaries and voluntary sector organisations.

See the Turn2us Commercial Relationships webpage for more information.

Can you help us with case studies?

Turn2us are developing a portfolio of case studies to demonstrate how we can help members of the public via the website or helpline. If you are an intermediary who has a client who has had a positive experience with Turn2us, we would like to hear from you.

If you can help us, please contact Emma Lamberton at email:
