Turn2us Training Coordinator
(12 month fixed-term contract)

Turn2us is part of the national charity Elizabeth Finn Care, established in 1897 to help people living in poverty.

Turn2us was set up in 2007 and provides a unique service which considerably extends the charity’s reach by helping people in financial need to access welfare benefits, charitable grants and other financial help - online, by phone and face to face through partner organisations.

In the last financial year, over 3 million people have used Turn2us services and an estimated 43,000 people have secured £148 million in welfare benefits and charitable grants.

Turn2us Training Coordinator role

To help more organisations and grant-giving charities that are supporting people in financial need to use our services and tools, Turn2us runs a programme of training workshops throughout the UK.

We are currently looking to recruit a Training Coordinator (12 month fixed-term contract).

The appointed candidate will be responsible for:

  • Planning, coordinating and evaluating Turn2us workshops
  • Publicising the workshops to maximise attendance
  • Overseeing updates to the training courseware
  • Communicating with a team of National Officers and associate trainers.

S/he will report directly to the Head of Information and Projects and will have:

  • Experience of organising training courses or events
  • Strong IT and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

S/he will need to be able to work on his/her own initiative.
