Now that the UK's children are going back to school, the
Children's Society is once again launching their Fair and Square
campaign, which aims to ensure that all children in need of a free
school meal receive one.

According to the charity, more than half of all children of
school age who are living in poverty aren't getting free school
meals - and may not be eating a single nutritious meal all day.
Over the coming months the Government will address the future of
school meals as they overhaul the current welfare system.
This presents a unique opportunity to influence and improve the
delivery of school dinners so that they are made available to
children in low-income working families. The free school meals
entitlement is important for millions of people.
You can help by signing the Children's Society's Fair and Square
