E-learning

Turn2us has developed a suite of modular interactive and engaging e-learning resources for intermediaries, with the aim of providing a clear understanding of how the Turn2us website tools and services and the helpline can help them support individuals in financial need.

The e-learning package contains four modules. Module 1 is available to everyone. Modules 2,3 and 4 require you to register for a My Turn2us account.

  • How to use the benefits checker on the Turn2us website to check a client is receiving all the benefits, including tax credits, they are entitled to
  • Where to get hold of application forms for different types of benefits.

Module 3: Accessing support from grant-giving charities

  • The diversity and range of the grant-giving charities sector
  • How grant-giving charities operate
  • How to search for grants on the Turn2us website
  • How to apply for grants on the Turn2us website.

Module 4 : Maximising income for families

  • How Turn2us can help you to support families experiencing financial difficulties
  • The welfare benefits and grants that may be available to help families
  • How to run a benefits check and a grants search on the Turn2us website
  • Where to go for further resources, information and sources of expert advice to help you support families in financial need.
