Citizens Advice Bureau Tunbridge Wells
Several members of staff at the Citizens
Advice Bureau Tunbridge Wells have discovered the benefits of
using the Turn2us helpline service and like knowing that the
website is available should they need additional information.
Elizabeth Malik, a mental health project
worker at the Citizens Advice Bureau Tunbridge Wells praised the
service for its time saving benefits. “I can often spend half an
hour searching for suitable sources of assistance for clients but
Turn2us can provide me with advice almost instantly, which frees up
my time to concentrate on other tasks. Turn2us is like an open
door, enabling me to access a huge range of charities to find one
specific to my client’s needs.”
Elizabeth's client agreed in good faith
to help a friend suffering from mental health problems by acting as
executer of her will. The client was then shocked to find that she
is now personally liable for huge funeral costs which, at the age
of 77 she is unable to pay. Thankfully, a Turn2us grant search was
able to produce two suggested sources of funding, making Elizabeth
feel 100% more confident about being able to assist the lady in
question.
“The support offered by Turn2us is absolutely
first rate” she said, praising the advisers for their genuine
concern and professional respect. She particularly appreciates
being able to explore different options with the adviser and seek
guidance on individual cases. “Nothing was too much trouble for
them, I received all the information I was looking for and
more!”
The Citizens Advice Bureau in Tunbridge Wells
Kent is impressed with the Turn2us service. They have recommended
it should feature in the national Citizens
Advice mail-out so that other Citizens Advice colleagues can
benefit from the helpline and accessible website.
