Children who have intestinal neuronal dysplasia (IND) and those undergoing transplants of the small bowel, liver or pancreas can apply to the Adele Chapman Foundation for financial assistance.

Contact the Foundation for an application form. You can also request an application form from the Royal Belfast Children's Hospital or Birmingham Children's Hospital. The application will need to be signed by the child's doctor or consultant.

The Anglo Jewish Association offers financial assistance to outstanding Jewish students in financial need studying for full-time for degrees at universities in the United Kingdom. 

As well as being a Privileged Body of the Crown, permitting it to present petitions and congratulations to the Royal Family, it is a full member of the International Claims Conference and the Memorial Foundation for Jewish Culture.  It is also represented, through the Consultative Council of Jewish Organisations

People who are in need and are living in the Sussex area can apply to the Charity for financial help. Priority may be given to older people and disadvantaged children.

Applications should be made in writing to the Appeal.

Children in need under 18 (usually Scottish) and students of nursery nursing living in the Lothians may be eligible for a grant.

 

Applications should be submitted through a recognised referral agency such as a social worker, health visitor or GP to the Avenel Trust. They are considered every two months.

Baron Davenport's Charity supports needy widows, spinsters and divorcees aged 60 and over, ladies abandoned by their partners and their children, and people under 25 whose fathers are dead. Applicants must live in either the West Midlands, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire or Worcestershire.

 

Applications should be made through a local authority Social Services department or recognised welfare agency. Direct applications from applicants will also be considered. Application forms are available from the Charity Administrator.

The Fund supports children under 18 in the UK, who are in need.

 

Applications are welcomed from philanthropic and charity organisations. This fund cannot give to individuals.

Children and young people aged 18 and under who have primary liver disease and are from a low-income family can apply for a grant.

Application is by letter from a professional who knows the family, usually the social worker at the major liver transplant hospital, but not necessarily so.

Channel helps children living in Merseyside who are in need, whose needs cannot be met by statutory grants from social services.

Applications can only be made through a social worker, health worker or voluntary agency, who should contact Channel for advice on funding, an application form and guidelines. Applications are considered on an ongoing basis.

The Fund is available to orphaned children of Institute members who are in financial need, in full-time education and aged between five and 22.
