Grants can be applied for in writing to the BBC Benevolent Fund. Applications are considered as they arrive.

Anyone who is or has been engaged in broadcasting (television or radio) or an associated activity can apply for a grant. Their children and dependants can also apply.
Applications should be made on an application form which is available from the Fund or from the website. Applicants must be prepared to disclose full details about their circumstances. Applications are considered in January and in September.
