The Foundation can provide help for Jewish ex-servicemen and women.

Contact the Foundation for an application form. Forms can either be submitted directly to the Honorary Welfare Secretary or through a third party such as a social worker, citizens advice bureau or SSAFA Forces Help. You will need to show evidence of service in the British army and evidence of Jewish religious status.

The Alastair Crerar Trust for Single Poor supports single people aged 16 or over who are on low incomes. Applicants or the person applying on their behalf must have an active Christian faith.

Applications should be completed on a form available from the Trust, and be submitted either directly by the individual or through a social worker, citizens advice or other welfare agency.

The Anglo Jewish Association offers financial assistance to outstanding Jewish students in financial need studying for full-time for degrees at universities in the United Kingdom. 

As well as being a Privileged Body of the Crown, permitting it to present petitions and congratulations to the Royal Family, it is a full member of the International Claims Conference and the Memorial Foundation for Jewish Culture.  It is also represented, through the Consultative Council of Jewish Organisations

The Fund can provide grants to Jewish people living in London, who are sick or disabled. Preference is given to older people.

Single women over 40 years of age who are in need, 'of good character' and are members of the Church of England or of a Protestant dissenting church that acknowledges the doctrine of the Holy Trinity can apply. Apply in writing to the Fund requesting an application form. Applications should be submitted either directly by the individual or through a social worker, Citizens Advice Bureau or other welfare agency.

Jewish refugees from Nazi oppression and their dependents and descendants who have settled in the UK can apply. Applicants must be members of the Association.

Applications must be made to the Association of Jewish Refugees Social Work Department.

Birmingham Jewish Community Care supports Jewish people in need living in the West Midlands and surrounding areas. Applications can be made in writing to the charity, including length of residence in area, other applications made and whether or not the applicant is in receipt of income support or support from other charities. Applications may be submitted directly by the individual or through a social worker, citizens advice or other welfare agency or third party such as a rabbi. No grant is ever made without personal contact with a social worker.
