Who Can Apply?

The organisation offers help to elderly, frail people living in the UK who are in vital financial need. Applications can be made by the individual or by a third party such as a family member, social worker or care agency.

Types of Grant

Normally one-off grants are provided in order to help pay for essential needs such as clothing, white goods, furniture, fuel bills. small essential home repairs etc. Contributions are also made towards more expensive items e.g a stair lift, walk-in shower, electric powered vehicle etc. Applications can also be considered for expenses towards providing an elderly carer with a respite break.

Exclusions

No grants can be considered for retrospective or on-going payments or debts.  The beneficiary of any grant must be of state pensionable age.
