Actors' Charitable Trust

Help available to residents in the United Kingdom

Who Can Apply?

Children (aged under 21) of professional actors who are in financial need, can apply for assistance from the Actors' Charitable Trust (TACT). TACT can also help children whose stepparent or adoptive parent is an actor.

Types of Grant

TACT can offer one-off and recurrent grants towards general maintenance and particular needs of actors' children. Student grants are also available to children of professional actors who wish to study an arts subject at university or FE college.

Exclusions

No grants are made towards private school fees or private drama tuition. TACT is unable to help people who have solely worked in variety, as an extra or in amateur dramatics.

Contact TACT for an application form or download one from the website. Forms can be submitted either by the individual or the parent concerned.
