Children who have intestinal neuronal dysplasia (IND) and those undergoing transplants of the small bowel, liver or pancreas can apply to the Adele Chapman Foundation for financial assistance.
The Trust can help with the purchase of equipment not usually provided by health authorities. Up to £500 can be given to an applicant in a year. You can re-apply for grants after the first year.
Contact the Foundation for an application form. You can also request an application form from the Royal Belfast Children's Hospital or Birmingham Children's Hospital. The application will need to be signed by the child's doctor or consultant.
