Spanish, Portuguese, and Latin American nationals living in the UK, who are in distress, can apply for financial assistance from the Society.

It can provide one-off grants of up to £300 to help towards a wide range of needs. For example washing machines, cookers or telephone installations.

The Society does not accept applications made directly by individuals. Applications must be submitted by a social worker, citizens advice bureau or another welfare agency. Details of the applicant's nationality, current situation, amount requested and how the grants will be used, must be included in the application.
