Students from developing countries studying in London who are experiencing unexpected financial difficulties. Students must be in their final year of study and intend to return home on completion of their course. Preference is given where the institution is a member of International Students House. Exclusions
Students with outstanding tuition fees will not generally be considered and no support for those seeking or granted asylum in the UK.
Type of grants
Grants or loans of up to £1,000 are available to those who experience difficulties due to unexpected financial hardship.
Applications
On an application form available from the correspondent or the website. Applications can be submitted directly by the individual or through a social worker, Citizens Advice or other welfare agency at any time. The trust states that an application will have a greater chance of success if it is supported by the student's own college/university advice or welfare service.
