Eligibility

Women (widows, singles and divorcees) who have lived in north Staffordshire for at least 10 years and are over the age of 60. Applicants must live alone and have a household income of less than £164 and no more than £5,000 in savings.

One-off grants for emergencies only.

They are usually considered in November and February. There is also an emergency committee which can meet during the rest of the year. The trustees will discuss and investigate in detail the circumstances arising for the grant to be requested before making any award.
