Other information

The trust aimed to raise sufficient funds to allow it to keep the home open for the benefit of present and future residents. However, in 2008 Leonard Cheshire surprisingly reversed its decision and announced its intention to remain at Holehird for the foreseeable future.

The trust has since reoriented its activities and now makes grants to individuals and local organisations.
