A free guide for students with disabilities who are thinking about studying in higher education. It is published by the Disability Alliance.

An e-teaching organisation offering courses to help people learn skills they need for jobs, including literacy and maths.

Government website that provides information and advice to support adults living in England in making appropriate decisions on work or learning.

Ucas (link opens in a new window)

The organisation responsible for managing applications to higher education courses in the UK. Website has information and online tools to make it easier for students and higher education institutions (HEIs) to manage applications and offers of university places.

When your child reaches 16 tool from Gingerbread (link opens in a new window)

Online advice tool to help single parents work out how their financial situation, especially in relation to benefits.

Teacher Support Network provides specialist emotional support to trainee, serving and retired teachers in England, Scotland and Wales through their free 24 hour, 7 days a week telephone support line and online services. Also has an 'InfoCentre' that contains more than 1,400 factsheets to help teachers.
