Help to apply
This section explains the help that might be available
if you need support or have any questions while making a
grant enquiry or application.
You can read through this information sheet, or go directly to

Check the guidance notes
- If you need any help while filling in the forms, check any
guidance notes the charity has given you. These usually give
details of the information that you need to include or refer to,
such as bank statements.

Ask the charitable fund what help is
available
- It is also worth asking the charitable funds you are
applying to if they can give you any support, such as someone to
help you complete the forms. Some charitable funds employ case
workers who visit potential beneficiaries in their own home to
offer support and assess their application for
help. Others have a grants department or enquiry
line that you can contact if you are unsure how to fill in the
application.

Ask an intermediary for help
- Any advisers, support workers or health/social care
professionals (also known as intermediaries) you have contact
with may also be able to help you
- You can also use our Find an
Adviser tool to find local advisers who may be able to advise
you further on your situation.
