Funds
A grant-giving charity will distribute the
money that it gives in grants through a fund or funds. This is an
amount of money set aside by a grant-giving charity to be used to
make grants for a particular purpose to people in financial need
who meet their eligibility criteria. Although many charities have
only one fund, some run several funds that give money for different
purposes.
When you do a search using our grants
database, the funds that you seem eligible for help from will be
listed rather than the name of the charity that distributes
them.
