Office closure over the Christmas period

Please note that our offices will be closed for the Christmas break after Friday 23rd December until Tuesday 3rd January, so please do not make any visit appointments during this time.

During this time, emails will not be read but we will respond to your queries as quickly as we can once our offices re-open.

Training in the New Year

The following Refresher Training sessions have been planned at our offices in London and various regional locations.

This training is important to ensure that you are:

  • Up-to-date with the work of the charity overall
  • Able to complete the new Visitor report form (including the online version)
  • Informed about your responsibilities in respect of data protection requirements
  • Aware of the best ways to stay safe during your volunteering.

This ensures that your knowledge of Turn2us is current so that you can effectively undertake your visits and also accurately represent Turn2us. You will also have the opportunity to discuss any issues you may have had with your visits and to benefit from some peer support during the session.

We want to try to ensure that everyone whose training is out of date (i.e. you haven't attended a training session for over two years) has been able to attend a session within the first six months of the New Year.

Please review the current planned sessions to identify a suitable one for you or if none are convenient or you would prefer a different location, please contact us at: to notify us of your preferences so we can add your details to our “Waiting List” which helps inform our planning for training sessions.

There will also be an additional training in Dublin in either March or April once a venue has been identified.

New online area for volunteers

A reminder that our online area for volunteers is now live!

You should have received an invite via email giving you instructions on how to register so that you can access the online area.

If you did not receive this email, please let Joseph know by emailing him at: He will send you the link and instructions on how to register.

If you are also having trouble logging into the volunteers area please check our Volunteers' logging in guide. If you continue to have problems, please email Joseph.

The new area for volunteers improves data security while making it easier for you to access your forms online as well as receive and return your paperwork. You will be able to access the last three reports you have recently submitted so you won’t have to keep copies at home electronically or on paper.
