We’re looking for a Response Programme Manager who does.

Salary: £45,000 per year

Type: 12 month fixed-term contract, full time

Location: Hammersmith, London (working from home during the coronavirus lockdown)


Unexpected illness, job loss or relationship breakdown can turn a life upside down. It can happen to any of us and the consequences often include loss of income, loss of housing and/or personal crisis.

22% of us are currently in poverty, including a shameful 33% of all children. Poverty is likely to affect the lives of our friends, family and colleagues. 

Turn2us is a national charity which focuses on alleviating poverty, helping people access welfare benefits, charitable grants and support services. We want to stop people falling into poverty and give practical help to anyone struggling to cope.  

Response Programme Manager role

We are now recruiting for a new role of Response Programme Manager to help us respond to people’s immediate financial needs as a result of Covid19.

The Response Programme Manager will lead on creating and implementing new grant-making programmes for individuals who are experiencing financial hardship specifically due to Covid19. They will ensure that co-production is at the heart of all our grant-making and work with external partners to create new grant programmes linked to Covid19. 

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in designing and delivering programmes and in working in complex partnerships and matrix arrangements. This will require a good understanding of safeguarding, equality and a passion for social justice.

Please note that this role is a fixed-term contract for 12 months and will require self disclosure of any convictions prior to interview and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
