Turn2us Grants Search: Reading the results
Making an enquiry
When you have filtered your results, the next step is to look at the charitable funds that appear on the results page.
Please note: You will find that you are not eligible for help from every charitable fund listed in your results.
You will have to read the profiles of any that look promising to find out more about the charitable fund, the support they give and whether you are likely to qualify for help from them.
Accessing a charitable fund's profile
A summary of each charitable fund is provided on the results page.
You can read a guide to what the grants they provide can be used for by clicking the plus sign by 'Grant can be used for...'
There are two types of links to more information about each charitable fund:
- 'Find out more & enquire': you can make enquiries online through Turn2us
- 'Find out more': you can't make enquiries through Turn2us.
When you click the 'Find out more' or 'Find out more & enquire' button, the Grants Search takes you to a page about the charitable fund. Those that accept enquiries online through Turn2us will have a 'Enquire online' button at the bottom of the page on the right hand side.
To find out more about the charitable fund, click the plus signs next to the headings. These will then expand to give you more information.
Making enquiries and applying to charitable funds
The next step is to make an enquiry to any charitable funds that you think might be able to help you, based on your background, circumstances and needs.
To find out how to do this, see the Turn2us Applying for grants guide
