Verifying organisations and users
When you register for an intermediary account, you have to select the organisation you work/volunteer for.
If this is already in our system, you will be able to select it and can carry on registering for your own intermediary account.
If it isn't there, you will need to register it. Once you have done this, you can register as an intermediary with your organisation by completing our online form.
Then you should receive email confirmation of your account. If you don't, please check your spam and junk mail folders as they occasionally get sent there.
Once the organisation and you as a user are registered, you can use the intermediary features on our website straight away. However we will verify the organisation and user.
Verifying your organisation is generally a straightforward process. A member of Turn2us staff will check your organisation and verify it. If they have any questions about your organisation, they will contact you for further information.
There are two levels of intermediary user:
Standard intermediary: who can access only their own clients, enquiries and benefit calculations. This is the type of user you will be when you first register. You will only be able to access your own clients, enquiries and benefits calculations at this stage.
Verified intermediary: who can access clients, enquiries and benefit calculations of any member of staff or volunteer from their organisation/branch. You become this type once someone from your organisation who is already 'verified' approves your account. If you are the first intermediary who registers for a newly created organisation, you will automatically become a verified user.
