  • Update on Universal Credit £20 uplift - be prepared 
    In early March, the Government will decide whether to keep paying the £20 uplift for Universal Credit and Working Tax Credits. This was introduced at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and has been a lifeline for hundreds of thousands of people. We do not know what their decision will be. With this in mind, we suggest that:
  • Test and Trace Support Payment scheme (25 Jan 2021)
    • If you’ve been contacted by NHS Test and Trace and told to self-isolate on or after 28 September 2020, you’re under a legal obligation to do so, and could be eligible for a £500 Test and Trace Support Payment.

  • Help and support if your business is affected by coronavirus (14 Jan 2021)
    • Watch videos and register for the free webinars to learn more about the support available to help you deal with the economic impacts of coronavirus

  • Providing school meals during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak (13 Jan 2021)
  • This guidance has been updated to include information on:

    • how to order vouchers
    • sending eCodes to families
    • supermarkets
    • redeeming the vouchers
  • Understanding the possession action process: guidance for landlords and tenants (11 Jan 2021)
    • This guide will assist tenants who have been served with a notice requiring or seeking possession

  • Latest guidance on job centres (4 Jan 2021)
  • COVID Winter Grant Scheme (30 Dec 2020)
    • The  COVID Winter Grant Scheme is to support  vulnerable households and families with children particularly affected by the pandemic throughout the winter where other sources of assistance may be unavailable.

  • Green Homes Grant (18 Nov 2020)
    • Vouchers will cover two-thirds of the cost of eligible improvements, up to a maximum government contribution of £5,000.
