Well done to our Serpentine 2016 swimmers!

Share

Well done to our fantastic Serpentine 2016 swimmers: Kirsten McKenzie, Micky Forster, Nicola Whittock, and Tim Curry who all swam the tough open-water mile in great times! They were buoyed to the finish line by the Turn2us cheering team of Zena, Irene, Max, Stuart and Maureen (Kirsten’s mum and dad) and their partners, Vialli and Den.

Turn2us Fundraising Officer Micky Forster said, “Thank you to everyone who came along – it meant a lot to have so much support. The sun shone on us and all the participants in this first event of its kind. It was a great success and we look forward to it becoming an annual event.

"At 18 degrees the temperature was great; I found the whole experience really exhilarating and would definitely do it again!”
