About this role
Turn2us is a national charity tackling financial insecurity and its structural causes. We work with co-producers and partners to provide people in financial crisis with the means and agency to get back on their feet, build resilience, move forward with their lives and thrive.
As an equal opportunities employer, we are committed to equity, inclusion and diversity and the value people from different backgrounds bring to a team. If, like us, you believe everyone has the right to have enough to live on, and you are ambitious about eradicating financial insecurity, join us and build your career with a charity dedicated to ensuring dignity and equity for all.
This role brings together research and monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) to strengthen Turn2us’s evidence base and improve how we design and deliver our services. Working closely with the Research & Learning Manager and the wider Insight & Impact team, the postholder will support projects that deepen our understanding of financial insecurity and its intersections with inequality. The role involves collecting and analysing data, synthesising evidence, and contributing to impact reporting, while ensuring that the voices and experiences of people facing financial hardship are central to our work. This is an exciting opportunity to join a charity that is ambitious, innovative, and driven by empathy, helping us learn, adapt, and deliver solutions that make a real difference in people’s lives.
About you
We are looking for someone with experience in qualitative and/or quantitative research methods, as well as familiarity with monitoring and evaluation approaches. You will have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings in accessible and engaging ways. Experience in designing surveys, conducting analysis, and synthesising evidence is important, alongside an interest and/or understanding of safeguarding, ethics, and intersectionality in research and evaluation. We also value experience of co-production with people with lived experience and the ability to support learning across teams. Above all, you will bring empathy for the challenges people face in financial insecurity, a passion for social justice, and the energy to help Turn2us deliver meaningful, lasting impact.
