Role: Supporter Development Manager
Salary: £37,000-£39,000 per annum
Location: Hammersmith, London
Hours: 35 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity within the fundraising team for a collaborative and creative fundraiser to join the team at an exciting time for the charity.

One in five of us in the UK are currently living in poverty, 14 million people. Disproportionally affected amongst these are the most vulnerable in our communities:

  • 4.5 million children
  • One in three households in poverty that include someone with a disability or mental ill health
  • Minority ethnic communities
  • Single mothers
  • People fleeing domestic abuse
  • Homeless people
  • Care leavers.

Turn2us gives people essential support in the face of life-changing events to help avert a worsening crisis. Then our charity supports them to build financial sustainability and thrive. We also collaborate with specialist agencies and other organisations to help tackle the causes and symptoms of poverty.

Supporter Development Manager

Turn2us has recently adopted a new and very exciting fundraising strategy. We are now looking for Supporter Development Manager to support this.

The Supporter Development Manager role requires a relationship fundraiser who is:

  • A creative and dynamic self-starter

  • Able to grow engagement and long-term commitment from our existing supporters, using a combination of communication channels

  • Able to generate new income from people who share our belief that no one in the UK should live in poverty.

You will use bespoke personal, written and face-to-face communications to build relationships with Turn2us supporters and secure their longer term commitment. You will lead the development of existing donor relationships through planned direct marketing appeals, building engaging supporter journeys and donor events.
