Gary and his wife Natasha were both working and had busy lives, spending their time walking together, travelling, going to concerts, and caring for their three children.
In 2017, Natasha suffered nerve damage during surgery to remove a spinal-cord tumour. Overnight, their entire world was turned upside down, Gary went from being a civil servant in a two-income household to becoming his wife’s full-time carer.
