Scottish Child Payment - What is Scottish Child Payment?

Extra help for families in Scotland

What is Scottish Child Payment?

The Scottish Child Payment is a payment for families with children living in Scotland.

For the first roll out, starting from February 2021, it will only support families with children under the age of six. The Scottish Government wants to support all families in Scotland with children under 16 by the end of 2022.

There is no equivalent benefit for England, Wales or Northern Ireland.
