Travel costs: People with disabilities and carers - Taxi Schemes

If you have disabilities or are a carer you may be entitled to free or discounted travel on public transport. If you are a driver you may be entitled to an exemption from paying road tax, and to a blue badge which gives you parking concessions.

Taxi Schemes

Your local authority might offer a scheme to help with taxi costs if you have a disability.

These schemes vary a lot.

To find out whether your council offers a taxi scheme and whether you would be eligible for it, contact your local authority.
