Everyone's Environment: Have your say on climate action
Communities shaping decisions about the climate, nature, and our futures.
What is Everyone's Environment?
Everyone's Environment is an alliance of more than 80 social purpose and environmental organisations championing community voices and life experiences.
Together with communities experiencing inequalities, we are changing who is included in decisions about the climate, nature, and our futures.
At Turn2us, we know that environmental issues and financial hardship are deeply connected. Climate change disproportionately affects people on low incomes through higher energy bills, rising food costs, and poorly insulated housing.
By ensuring climate action includes economic justice, we're making sure the transition to a greener future doesn't push more families into poverty.
Instead, we want everyone to benefit from environmental improvements while protecting the most at risk of poverty in our communities.
Our Environment, Our Voices
As part of Turn2us's partnership with New Philanthropic Capital (NPC), Disability Rights UK and Race Equality Foundation, we launched Our Environment, Our Voices: a collection of letters written by those at the sharp end of inequality.
These letters demonstrate why decisions about our environment must be shaped by lived experience.

Everyone's Environment: Voices
Everyone's Environment: Voices aims to amplify the voices of communities most affected by climate change and nature loss, helping them shape the narrative by telling their own stories.
It provides practical training in storytelling, media engagement, and policy advocacy. By joining, participants become part of a growing network of champions working together to get community voices heard and shape the public conversation.
Could you use your voice to influence decisions about climate and nature?
Everyone's Environment: Voices is a paid programme supporting people from communities often left out of environmental conversations to share their experiences publicly and influence decisions about climate and nature.
You don't need to be an expert. Your lived experience matters. Through Voices, you'll be supported to share your perspective, contribute to public debate, and help ensure decisions reflect real life.
We're looking for 25 participants from communities often left out of environmental conversations to share their experiences, build confidence, and help shape change.
You don't need to be an expert. Your experience matters.

The programme is currently supporting community organisations in Greater Manchester.
