We're proud to share our 2024-2025 Annual Report, which tells the story of a year of significant growth and impact in our work tackling financial insecurity across the UK.
This year's report reveals how we've helped millions of people across the UK access the support they're entitled to. Over 2.4 million benefit calculations were completed using our free Benefits Calculator, with 1.5 million people discovering new benefits worth an average of £5,396 each. That amounts to £12.9 billion in annual income people could be claiming.
A major milestone for us was launching the Turn2us PIP Helper tool in May 2024, co-created with people who have used the Personal Independence Payment system. Since launch, it has attracted over 470,000 visitors, with its features used more than 140,000 times.
We made £3 million in grants, supporting 2,164 people and their families, whilst our website attracted 4.8 million visitors seeking information about claiming support. Our Grants Search tool was used nearly one million times by people looking for additional financial help.
"I've never come across an organisation that can have this much impact simply by helping people access the social security system," said our Chief Executive, Thomas Lawson. "Every pound donated to Turn2us that we invest in the Benefits Calculator means £1,600 in someone's pocket."
Co-production, working alongside people with lived experience, remains at the heart of everything we do. Esther, one of our co-production partners who introduces this year’s report, reflects: "Thanks to Turn2us, I'm more resilient than ever before. When I realised that the Benefits Calculator exists because people want to make change happen, it filled me with hope."
Our expanded digital tools, growing partnerships, and place-based programmes work demonstrate real progress towards our vision of financial security for all.
With generous support from individual donors, trusts, and corporate partners including Royal London, we're strengthening our ability to influence both systems and societal attitudes around seeking financial support.
Thanks to our growing community of supporters, Turn2us’s voluntary income increased to £2.7 million during the year. Elizabeth Finn Homes contributed £3.8 million through surplus and rent to support our mission.
