What is the Help to Save scheme?

The Help to Save scheme is a government savings scheme for people who receive Universal Credit.

It gives you two bonus payments of up to 50% on savings paid into a Help to Save account. 

You can pay up to £50 into your account each month, which is £2,400 over four years. The maximum amount you can earn from your savings over the four years is £1,200.
