Young Carer Grant - Scotland - How do I claim a Young Carer Grant - Scotland?

If you have a bank account, you can claim a Young Carer Grant online.

If you don’t have a bank account, you will need to make your claim over the phone by calling Social Security Scotland:

• British Sign Language (BSL) users: Contact Scotland app

The helpline is open Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm.

You can also apply by downloading and completing a paper form.

What documents do I need to provide?
