National Enterprise Allowance

In England, Scotland and Wales, you may be able to get support through the New Enterprise Allowance (NEA) to help you:

  • Start your own business

  • Develop your business, if you’re already self employed.

You need to be getting certain benefits and have a business idea that could work.

In addition to financial help, the NEA puts you in touch with a mentor to give you advice and support.d

Access is through your jobcentre/Jobs and Benefits Office advisor/work coach.
