Turn2us PIP Helper Accessibility Statement

Find out about the accessibility of the Turn2us PIP Helper.

Accessibility statement for the Turn2us PIP Helper

This statement covers all of the tool (pip.turn2us.org.uk) and any pages on www.turn2us.org.uk which you might use to access the Turn2us PIP Helper.

For example, it includes the registration page on www.turn2us.org.uk, if you choose to register a Myturn2us account to come back to your saved details.

For full information on the accessibility of www.turn2us.org.uk, please visit the general Turn2us Accessibility Statement.

This website is run by Turn2us.

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings
  • zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver).

We've also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

AbilityNet (opens in a new window) has advice on making your device easier to use if you are disabled.

How accessible this website is

The Turn2us PIP Helper meets WCAG 2.2 AA standards.

However, if you choose to register for a Myturn2us account to return to your entitlement page, the registration form uses Google's reCAPTCHA. This can occasionally cause accessibility issues. Please read Google's reCAPTCHA help guide (opens in a new window) if there are any problems.

How to access the website in different formats

You can download:

  • an accessible PDF version of your PIP entitlement when you reach your results.
  • an accessible, editable PDF diary to record your symptoms, which you can use as evidence for your claim.

We are afraid that we don't currently provide results in other formats, such as easy read, large print, audio recordings or braille.

Please contact us using the details listed above if you would like to give feedback about this.
