Warm Homes Network: Energy, bills and benefit advice for the North of England

You may be entitled to support with your energy bills and rising costs through the Warm Homes Network.

What is the Warm Homes Network?

The Warm Homes Network helps people to:

  • access the support they're entitled to
  • make their homes more energy efficient
  • access advice on benefits, household costs and debt.

The network is a collaboration between Turn2us, Citizens Advice, YES Energy Solutions and Lightning Reach, funded by Cadent and Northern Gas Networks.

Who is eligible for support?

The Warm Homes Network is available to anyone living in the North of England.

Get free, expert advice from Citizens Advice and YES Energy Solutions. Fill out the form below to request a call.

An adviser will call you within two working days.

YES Energy Solutions provides financial support such as fuel vouchers, as well as access to funding to improve the energy efficiency of your home and personalised advice on managing energy bills.

Citizens Advice Manchester provides personalised advice on benefits, debt, budgeting, housing, childcare, household bills, and income maximisation.

Lightning Reach 

This service can connect you to grants, energy support, help with bills, food and essentials from over 2,500 support services.  

You'll need to complete a quick form on their website to request a call from Citizens Advice and/or YES Energy Solutions. You can then create a full profile to access support from over 2,500 services.

Priority Services Register 

Energy companies have registers of customers who would be most at risk if their energy was cut off. You can join the Priority Services Register for extra support to keep you warm and safe if there's ever a problem with your gas or electric supply. 

If you are over 66, ill or disabled, or have children living at home, ask your energy company if you can be added to their Priority Services Register.
